The lake at Green Oaks is a well established angler's paradise, this mature Carp and Catfish Lake offers you the perfect chance to relax and unwind, whether you enjoy exploring with the mobile approach of stalking or being comfortable in your swim you can be sure you're never too far from these hard fighting specimens.

The irregular shape of the lake and many natural features make this very interesting for anglers, there are two small islands, water lilies, overhanging willows and oak trees, bamboo and reeds that fringe the deep margin edges with an abundance of natural food, this forms a perfect environment for all the inhabitants.

The bottom is mainly clay and gravel with some light patches of silt, you will find the main body of the lake is snag and weed free, with depths range from one meter at the inlet to three meters along the dam wall, being feed by natural springs the water level remains the same throughout the year even in drought conditions.

We have a good mixture of mirrors and commons of all sizes and large cats for you to target.

There are plenty of large mature trees that offer some welcome shade during the long hot summer days.

We allow a maximum of three anglers per week, fishing is from the five spacious swims, four singles and one double all with good access via the footpaths.

All this and just a few meters from your luxury accommodation and pool.
