At Green Oaks we offer our clients luxury accommodation right next to your very own 2 acre lake solely for your use only.

What's there to do and how can I amuse my family?
Green Oaks is situated in the stunning Natural Regional Park, Perigord-Limousin region of France. The Limousin area is know world wide for it's very fine porcelain, which is distributed throughout the world. Many factories are open for visits during the holiday season, another tradition to this area of France is the enamel products that are hand made and on sale in local shops, from items of lovely jewellery to beautiful paintings, it is called 'Email' here in France has been a Limousin tradition for many centuries. In and around the city of Limoges you can see plenty of shops making and selling their very own stunning art work.

Limoges city is capital of the whole Limousin region, and is steeped in history, take a guided tour or take Le petit train to discover the medieval streets and stunning architecture of the more palatial buildings such as the cathedral, town hall and the famous Benedictins station.
Not only are you on the door step of Limoges, but we also have the world famous Martyr village of Oradour Sur Glane just 10 minutes drive away. Here you will find the village left as it was by the Germans in the second world after they destroyed the village and killed it's inhabitants...

Saint Junien our local town is just five minutes away. Here they are famous for making leather gloves for famous houses such as Dior & Chanel, factory visits are available and you can purchase products from the on site shop. The town has two large hypermarkets, a few smaller supermarkets and shops for all your essentials as well as other numerous shops if you feel you need to browse...

There is plenty to do and see for all age groups in and around our surrounding area, visit a chateau or two and take the trail of Richard the Lionheart. Play a game of Golf at St Juniens' 18 hole golf course, take the kids to the zoo in Limoges, go canoeing up the river Vienne, or try your hand at River fishing on the Vienne, where you have the chance to catch barbel, carp & general coarse fish. If you feel you want something more strenuous you could ride the velo-rail and have fun at the adventure park climbing trees, or go horse-riding. As well as the swimming pool at Green Oaks there are a few others near by with water slides and activities on site.

Or simply if you really must... just chill out and stay on site and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of what your fishing holiday entails right next to your very own on site lake...
